Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace seeks a Director of Sales for the NE Region to drive revenue growth and lead a regional team of 5–10 sales professionals. The role oversees pricing, inventory coordination, order management, and regional profitability while fostering strong customer relationships and supplier collaboration.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years in sales leadership, with travel as needed and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred, or 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in sales, sales management, distribution, or a related industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to visit customers and support the sales team.
• Ability to work occasional irregular hours as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team of 5-10 employees.
• Set sales goals, monitor performance, and conduct reviews.
• Review sales territories to maximize productivity and growth.
• Identify new sales opportunities and help close key orders.
• Monitor major accounts, pricing profitability, and contract performance.
