Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a regional sales leader to promote and sell Power Transmission and Bulk Material Handling components across the East. The role leads a regional outside sales team, directs the sales action plan, and drives company objectives while delivering product trainings and presentations.

We seek candidates with extensive outside sales experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to develop new business while serving existing customers.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Industrial marketplace in the Northeast region.
• Outside sales with a proven track record selling to distributors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and sell Power Transmission components and Bulk Material Handling equipment to an established distributor base in the East.
• Lead and manage regional outside sales team.
• Direct and manage regional sales action plan and company sales objectives.
• Perform product trainings and sales presentations.
• Develop new business while maintaining excellent service for current customers.
• Provide technical and non-technical support regarding parts and equipment.
• This is a full-time, exempt leadership role requiring flexibility for meetings outside standard hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell our Power Transmission components (sprockets, gears, sheaves, and pulleys) and/or Bulk Material Handling equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, and conveyor pulleys) to an established distributor base throughout the East
• Lead and manager regional outside sales team
• Direct and manage regional sales action plan and company sales objectives
• Perform product training and sales presentations
• Develop new business while maintaining excellent service for current customers
• Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of parts and equipment
• This is a full-time, exempt leadership position. The role generally follows a Monday through Friday schedule during standard business hours. As a director-level position, the role also requires flexibility to support business needs. This may include occasional early morning, evening, or weekend meetings.

Key Competencies

• Significant travel is a must
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Awareness with Industrial marketplace in the Northeast region
• Familiarity with PT components (sprockets, gears, sheaves and pulleys) and/or Bulk MH equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors and conveyor pulleys)
• Outside sales experience with a proven successful track record of selling to an established distributor base
• Ability to perform Product Training and Sales Presentations
• Experience in development of new business
• Moderate to complex math aptitude; along with mechanical aptitude
• Friendly; with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-management with drive to succeed and achieve goals
• Un-yielding commitment to customer service
• Computer proficiency, plus organizational and multi-tasking skills
