Airswift is seeking an Environmental Specialist III - Field Environmental Specialist to support a major O&G company on the North Slope, Alaska (Prudhoe Bay). This 1-year assignment focuses on regulatory compliance, waste management, and field operations.

You will work with Anchorage-based team and field personnel to ensure safe, environmentally sound project execution. The role includes a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, regular field training, and opportunities for continuous improvement

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.
• 5 to 8 years of regulatory and environmental experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience supporting field-based environmental compliance across operations, drilling, and projects.
• Experience with waste management, air and water permit compliance, land use requirements, spill prevention, clean-up, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate environmental and regulatory activities in the field, including spill response and land use permits.
• Provide direct environmental support to operations, drilling, and project teams in a North Slope field environment.
• Train personnel and project teams on waste management, permit compliance, and reporting.
• Work with field teams to ensure compliance obligations and sound operating practices.
• Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and permit activities.
• Support environmental records, documentation control, and audits.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate field-level training and emergency response.
