Job summary

Salomon seeks a Senior Manager, PR & Communications for North America in New York City. The role leads the NAM PR strategy, coordinating with global teams and local agencies to deliver brand storytelling across athletes, products, events and milestones.

You will drive localised communications within the brand calendar, partner with media and influencers, and manage a robust PR budget while collaborating across marketing and merchandising to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years practical experience in the public relations sector, with outdoor/athletic brand experience preferred.
• Experience building a narrative for both trade and consumer audiences.
• Demonstrated affiliate network proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage NAM PR strategy and liaison between global and local teams.
• Drive authentic storytelling around brand, athletes, products, events and milestones.
• Localize global communications for NAM market with global and agency teams.
• Integrate PR into launch plans within the brand calendar and channels.
• Budget management of PR activities and agencies.
• Maintain relationships with North American media, influencers, and partners.
• Oversee external PR agencies with briefs, budgets and results.
