Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Human Resource Payroll Manager III to lead end-to-end payroll for US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across North America. You will oversee schedules, reconciliations, and interactions with HR/Finance teams and external vendors to maintain data integrity.

The role requires 5–7+ years in payroll with strong ADP and Oracle HCM Cloud experience, and a track record in payroll automation and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive payroll experience including leadership.
• Strong U.S. and Canadian payroll processing and tax compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• CPP or PCP certification preferred.
• Advanced experience with ADP Workforce Now/ADP GlobalView and Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Knowledge of HRIS integrations, payroll reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll schedules, reconciliations, reporting cycles, filings, and remittances.
• Partner with HR, Finance and vendors to ensure data integrity and system integration.
• Monitor changes to payroll legislation and tax regulations for ongoing compliance.
• Lead audits, internal controls, and risk mitigation in payroll operations.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing payroll team and promote collaboration.
• Identify process improvements and automation to increase payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor payroll KPIs and SLAs and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll-related questions and initiatives.
