Job summary

Hartmann Packaging, a global leader in sustainable molded fiber packaging, seeks a Business Development Manager for North America (U.S. Market Focus). This field-based role drives strategic revenue growth across the United States, develop new business, and grow key accounts with on-site customer engagements.

You will sell across the full value chain—from retailers to egg producers and processors—aligning solutions at multiple decision points to drive conversion and growth. Travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Proven track record in revenue growth and key accounts.
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders across a value chain.
• Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute high-value growth opportunities across U.S. target markets.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline; meet volume, revenue, and margin targets.
• Lead customer engagements including presentations and site visits.
• Drive conversion by engaging retailers, processors, and producers across the value chain.
• Manage and expand key accounts through structured planning and relationships.
• Serve as primary commercial contact, leading negotiations and long-term agreements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
• Provide market intelligence to support pricing, product development, and planning.
• Maintain forecasting, pipeline reporting, and performance updates.
