Job summary

The Global Compliance & Packaging Safety Manager – North America at tms leads regulatory compliance, safety assurance, and risk management for disposable and reusable packaging across North America. You’ll ensure packaging and food contact materials meet FDA/CFIA/state requirements and internal standards.

You will drive AIM initiatives, collaborate with Packaging Development, Legal, Sourcing, and Sustainability, and guide cross-functional teams to embed compliance early in development, including

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of US/Canadian food contact regulations (FDA/CFIA) and state rules.
• Understanding of packaging materials science and safety testing.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with ability to guide cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regulatory Compliance & Safety Management for NA packaging.
• Oversee documentation, FCNs, NOLs, and supplier declarations.
• Collaborate with suppliers, labs, and internal teams on safety.
• Drive AIM monitoring and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
