Job summary

Howden, a global insurer and broker, seeks a Regional Service Director for North America to lead IT infrastructure and support across multiple entities. You will collaborate with COOs, CIOs, CEOs, and regional executives to ensure compliant, scalable IT services, aligning regional needs with Group IT strategy.

You will oversee demand planning, budgeting, and delivery of IT initiatives, including SOC2 and US SOX compliance programs, while championing continuous improvement and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• MSC preferred.
• ITIL v4 certification or equivalent.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) desirable.
• 10+ years in technology roles, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Track record in regulated industries, preferably insurance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT professionals to deliver compliant IT infrastructure and support services regionally.
• Maintain relationships with senior executives and drive governance and standards across regions.
• Engage in demand planning, budgeting and forecasting for infrastructure and services.
• Act as trusted partner to business units and participate in Architecture Review and Change Advisory Boards.
• Lead talent acquisition, coaching, and career development initiatives.
