Job summary

IPG, a global leader in packaging and protective solutions, seeks a Field Service Manager to build and manage a field service organization in North America, overseeing 30+ technicians. You will develop the team, monitor deployment of management tools, coach staff, and drive service contracts, cost reductions, and customer satisfaction across the installed base of IPG equipment.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent combination of school and experience.
3+ years in technical field service.
2+ years in a leadership position.
Active U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screen.
Willing to travel ~80% domestically.
Preference for candidates residing in Florida and Georgia.

Responsibilities

Build, develop and manage a field service organization in North America leading a team of 30+ field service technicians.
Foster professionalism and lead in installation, maintenance and service delivery.
Coach and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Track site audits, parts inventory and billing; ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
Identify service opportunities, sell service contracts and report on financial metrics.
Oversee onboarding, training programs, and timecard approvals; manage expenses.
