Job summary

FLSmidth in Allentown, PA, seeks a Corporate Legal Counsel to provide high‑quality legal guidance to the North America business and regional stakeholders. You will address contractual, commercial and regulatory matters to enable sound decisions while protecting the company’s interests.

You will draft, review and negotiate contracts across business lines, support M&A due diligence and coordinate with external counsel as needed, ensuring compliance with laws and internal governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• JD required with active bar status in the US.
• At least 5+ years of legal experience in a corporate or law firm setting with commercial focus.
• Experience handling contractual, regulatory, and transactional matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contractual, commercial, and regulatory matters for North America region
• Draft, review, negotiate, and support execution of contracts across business lines and corporate functions
• Support M&A processes including due diligence and coordination of external counsel
• Support major projects, claims, and dispute resolution activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks
• Manage and coordinate external legal counsel where required
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to project and commercial teams
