Job summary

Sandella Sova is partnering with a global manufacturing leader to identify their next Regional Controller for North America. This hybrid role combines on-site leadership with strategic accounting oversight across manufacturing operations and finance functions.

You will drive financial reporting integrity, internal controls, and digital transformation, overseeing AP, AR, treasury, and general accounting while partnering with plant leadership on costing and profitability analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep IFRS knowledge and managing full-cycle transactional finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (SAP) and consolidation tools like OneStream or HFM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes across North America with IFRS governance.
• Lead regional AP, AR, treasury and general accounting teams.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership on costing, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Drive finance modernization, automation, and ERP optimization.

Sandella Sova is proud to partner with a global manufacturing leader on a search for their next Regional Controller.

This is a hybrid role (4 days onsite).

We are seeking a high-caliber North America Controller to join an innovative finance leadership team. This position serves as a strategic leader responsible for overall accounting operations across North America, bridging the gap between executive leadership, plant operations, and transactional finance functions.

You'll play a critical role in driving financial reporting integrity, internal controls, and digital transformation for a premier manufacturing organization.

You will also oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Controls: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes in accordance with IFRS, while maintaining strong accounting governance and internal controls.
• Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing regional teams across AP, AR, Treasury, and General Accounting.
• Manufacturing & Costing: Partner with manufacturing leadership on inventory valuation, standard costing, variance analysis, and operational reporting.
• Finance Modernization: Champion automation, ERP optimization (SAP), and process standardization across all accounting functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge of IFRS and managing full-cycle transactional finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (SAP preferred) and consolidation tools like OneStream or HFM.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements, manage change, and collaborate cross-functionally.
