Job Description

Norco is currently seeking a NorLab Production Technician. The responsibilities include:

• Preparing high-pressure and disposable cylinders for filling
• Filling specialty gases to maintain inventories and meet customer commitments
• Filling specialty gas mixtures for customers and NorLab transfill masters
• Filling disposable cylinders to meet inventory requirements
• Performing equipment calibrations or maintenance as scheduled
• Accurately recording information on logs and records
• Shipping product using appropriate carriers
• Adhering to all procedures, policies, and safety rules
• Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Desirable: One year of college chemistry or related work experience
• Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping requirements
• Ability to work independently
• Good problem-solving skills
• Previous knowledge of cylinders and gases is a plus
