Qualifications

• Post-secondary certifications/diploma an asset.
• 3+ years of management experience in hospitality or spa industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
• Comfortable with technology and open to new learning.
• A passion for mental and physical wellness.
• Previous Spa, Hospitality, Guest Service or Retail experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

• Represent Alyeska Nordic Spa with the highest level of service excellence and be knowledgeable of facility, treatment, and retail offerings.
• Ensure a warm, welcoming arrival from curb to front desk with strong first impressions.
• Create spa experiences that are as unique as guests by understanding hydrotherapy, services, products and offerings.
• Assist with reservations, check-ins, and guest inquiries to maximize satisfaction and spend.

Located on the Alyeska Resort grounds, each Nordic Spa experience is crafted to be as individual as our guests. Featuring an indoor-outdoor experience, we offer relaxation without rules where guests can come as they are to connect with nature, themselves and others. We are wellness redefined.

Interviews will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Alyeska Nordic Spa, located at 1000 Arlberg Ave, Girdwood, Alaska. Experience/Passions/Education

• Post-secondary certifications/diploma or degree an asset

Working Conditions

This position will include a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with guests, employees, business partners, and stakeholders. Working outdoors in a variety of mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -30 C / -22 F to +30 C / +86 F.
