Sugar Bowl Nordic’s Royal Gorge Cross Country is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for the upcoming winter season. This role supports both back-of-house and front-of-house operations and reports to the F&B Operations Manager.

You’ll focus on food preparation, menu execution, and delivery during high-volume times, with inventory control and cashier duties when needed. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are open to learning new skills across departments while

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts, proportions, and volumes.
• Works well with others and treats guests and coworkers with respect.
• Open to learning new skills across departments as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent customer service to guests and employees.
• Cook foodstuffs in quantities according to the menu and guest count.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
• Check out cafe guests in the absence of a dedicated cashier.
• Bake breads and pastries.
• Maintain cleanliness in the cafe area.
• Restock grab-and-go items and beverages.
• Assist with menu planning using seasonal and local ingredients.
• Oversee food and beverage operations in the absence of lead cook.
• Assist with inventory and purchasing.
