Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort in Soda Springs, CA is seeking an enthusiastic Nordic Outdoor Operations Supervisor for the winter season. You’ll oversee ski school, patrol and rental staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and coordinating events.

This guest-facing role requires Nordic skiing knowledge, staff leadership, and the ability to work outdoors in harsh High Sierra conditions, December through March, including weekends.

Qualifications

• PSIA Level I or USSS L100 preferred, or willingness to obtain certification early in the season.
• Ability to lead ski school and rental shop operations.
• Strong communication and group instruction skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ski school, patrol and rental staff including scheduling and training.
• Maintain knowledge of ski school products, tickets, rentals, lessons and events.
• Act as knowledge expert for ski school products and services.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.
• Assist with events and races and help with on-snow operations.
