Gunstock Outdoor Center in Gilford, NH seeks an experienced Outdoor Salesperson for its Nordic ski shop. The role focuses on helping guests with sales of skis, boots, bindings, snowshoes, bags and apparel, while delivering outstanding service.

Positions are seasonal, with full- and part-time options, requiring 20–40 hours per week including weekends. Start is planned for late October/early November; you will assist with tickets, rentals and lessons.

Formación

• Experience in snow sports retail or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to learn product details and convey unbiased advice.

Seeking Experienced Outdoor Salesperson for Nordic Ski shop!

Gunstock Outdoor Center is in search of an experienced Salesperson who is both knowledgeable and passionate about snowsports and the gear/equipment involved. We are committed to creating the best possible buying and outdoor experience for our guests. Products include skis, ski boots, ski bindings, snowshoes, bags, outerwear, and accessories. Successful candidates are able to drive sales by consistently delivering outstanding product knowledge and guest service. The ability to remain focused and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume retail shop is required. The Salesperson with also be the main contact for tickets, season passes, lessons, and rental bookings.

Scheduling requires 20-40 hours/week of availability, weekends included. We have seasonal, full- and part-time positions available. Weekends and working around winter holidays is required. Don't worry, you will get to ski!

Positions scheduled to begin the end of October/early November.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of individuals to help every customer we encounter
• Proficiently operate our POS system to sell tickets/passes/lessons/rentals
• Consciously strive to improve upon knowledge base and expertise with regards to product information
• Give educated, un-biased advice to assist in customer purchases
• Resolve customer-related issues quickly, efficiently and happily
• Look for new ways to go above and beyond the expectations of our customers
• Perform merchandising duties: folding, hanging, and displaying product
• Help with daily opening/closing tasks throughout the day
