Job summary

Bogus Basin Recreational Association, Inc. in Boise, ID, is seeking a Nordic Supervisor to oversee the Community Race Series and assist Nordic Center operations. This role requires leading staff, coordinating tournaments, and ensuring smooth daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and skiing ability, PSIA Nordic certification preferred, with a focus on safety and customer service for all ages.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• PSIA Nordic Certification or US Ski and Snowboard (Nordic) coach license preferred.
• Must be able to ski comfortably on blue terrain at moderate speeds.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff in a multi-week event.
• Train and schedule staff and organize volunteers.
• Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Supervise Nordic Center staff under the Nordic Operations Director.
• Coordinate with Food and Beverage to stock concessions and supplies.
• Work with accounting staff for invoices and payments.
• Oversee rental equipment preparation and tracking.
• Instruct programs and lessons for students of any age or ability.
• Attend meetings and training sessions and train staff as needed.
• Maintain professional and helpful attitude with guests, students, and staff.
• Assist in retail operations and occasional counter work.
