Qualifications

• Medical Degree or equivalent.
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
• Unrestricted California medical license.
• Medical Staff membership as per Cedars-Sinai bylaws.
• Eligible for recommendation to appropriate academic rank and appointment.
• Minimum of five years of active clinical anesthesiology experience.
• Proven excellence in teaching and in organizing clinical and non-clinical activities.

Responsabilités

• Lead administrative and clinical functions of the NORA general anesthesia section across locations.
• Establish annual section goals aligned with departmental priorities; track progress and report outcomes.
• Oversee NORA provider coverage, scheduling, and case assignments to ensure timely access and fair workload.
• Recommend staffing levels and competencies; support recruitment and retention.
• Ensure efficient daily NORA operations and patient flow; collaborate with leadership.
• Support onboarding and orientation for clinicians and trainees across NORA locations.
• Represent section in policy development and communicate updates to providers.
• Standardize workflows and documentation to reduce variation and improve reliability.
• Monitor quality and safety indicators and participate in performance improvements.
• Review safety reports and patient grievances; contribute to RCAs.
