Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to add to our team at Sunset Lake Elementary School as a Noon Supervisor. This position works student days only 10:30-1:30pm, approximately 15 hours/week. This position is eligible to accrue sick leave through the Michigan Earned Sick Time Act, 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.


Responsibilities


  • Supervise students to, from and on the playground, in lunch areas, in the classroom and on campus as directed by the principal or their designee.

  • Enforce playground, lunch area, and campus behavior standards.

  • Organize and supervise playground activities.

  • Acknowledge and reinforce desirable student behaviors.

  • Report serious problems that arise due to behaviors or injuries to the main office.

  • General duties as assigned by the principal or their designee.
