Battle Creek Public Schools is seeking a part-time Lunchroom Supervisor to help supervise students during lunch and recess.

Responsibilities include supervising children in the lunchroom and on the playground or gym, assisting with recreational activities, and ensuring a safe outdoor environment. A High School diploma is required, and availability 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Available 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 1.5–2 hours daily.
• Able to work outdoors.
• Able to supervise elementary-aged children.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervise the children in the lunchroom and assist them with their lunch needs.
• Supervise the children on the playground or in the gymnasium during the lunch period.
• Assist the children with recreational sports and activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School diploma is required.
• Ability to work for 1 ½ to 2 hours per day between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to supervise elementary-aged children.

Salary:

$15.00 per hour

The successful candidate will be subject to a fingerprint and background check as a condition of employment. All fees required for this check (estimated $73.00) will be the responsibility of the successful applicant.
