Din Tai Fung North America is hiring for a kitchen role in California to prepare fresh noodle items in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will mix and produce dough using commercial equipment to ensure consistency and quality, with AM shifts from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM and flexibility for overtime as needed.

Shift Starting Times

AM shifts: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Flexible schedule required (Monday–Sunday); overtime as needed.

About The Role

Responsible for preparing fresh noodle items in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, including mixing and producing dough using commercial equipment to ensure consistency and quality.

COMPENSATION:

$20.50/hour

The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequently needs to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather cold
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Constantly exposed to both hot and cold temperature conditions is pertinent.
• Follows all safety procedures, uses restaurant safety words during all shifts, and asks for assistance

• Must practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid
• injury:
• Cutting gloves when cutting
• Back support belt when lifting heavy items
• Goggles and long gloves when working with chemicals
• Other PPE as needed (if applicable)
