Job summary

Oxco is seeking a Nonwoven Product Engineer to develop and support commercial nonwoven products for filtration, automotive, acoustics, and building applications. You will translate customer needs into manufacturable specifications, collaborating with R&D, manufacturing and sales.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in product development with textiles; experience scaling lab to production and strong problem‑solving skills are expected. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in Engineering (Textile, Chemical, Materials) or related field.
  • Textile Science degree preferred.
  • 3–6 years in Product Development with textiles; nonwoven experience preferred.
  • Experience translating customer needs into technical product specs.
  • Experience with nonwoven tech in filtration/automotive/acoustics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and commercialize nonwoven products for customer applications.
  • Translate application requirements into technical product specifications.
  • Evaluate physical properties and optimize performance metrics.
  • Scale lab/pilot developments into full production runs with manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot field and mill issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Document development work, data sheets and guidelines.
