Job summary

PFNonwovens Hazleton, PA seeks a Product/Material Development professional to advance innovative nonwoven materials for hygiene, medical and industrial markets. You will work with Business Development to identify customer needs and guide an innovation pipeline, while partnering with Operations and Quality to scale new products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 2–5 years in development, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics or related Engineering field.
• 2–5 years in product/material development; polymer science and/or nonwovens preferred.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative nonwoven materials for hygiene, medical and other industrial markets.
• Work with Business Development to identify customer opportunities and guide product development.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality to implement new/modified products safely and on time.
• Build relationships with suppliers to identify new technical approaches and evaluate IP and consumer trends.
• Travel to internal production sites, customers and suppliers as necessary; some international travel may be required.
