Job summary

Clark Nuber PS in Bellevue, WA seeks a Tax Senior to oversee complex not-for-profit tax engagements from planning through delivery. You will review returns, mentor Associates, and coordinate with Managers to ensure timely, accurate results.

You’ll work with private foundations, schools, and other exempt organizations, contribute to consulting projects, and help shape the growth of our tax practice while embracing new technology and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA license preferred.
• 3+ years in public accounting focusing on nonprofit tax.
• Lead engagements and supervise Associates; strong communication with managers and clients.
• Pass background check including credit check as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tax compliance process for nonprofit engagements, staffing, information gathering, and delivery within budget.
• Review workpapers and returns for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical guidance to Associates and coach staff on complex issues.
• Communicate with clients and IRS matters; support examinations and appeals as needed.
• Present in-house training and participate in ongoing professional development.
