Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and experience with QuickBooks and Excel. This full-time position emphasizes accuracy, compliance with federal guidelines, and timely financial closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Experience entering transactions in QuickBooks accounting software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial formulas).

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with monthly federal grant reimbursement documentation and reporting.
• Track grant-funded expenses and compare to approved budgets.
• Support internal controls and audit readiness per federal guidelines.
• Contribute to monthly and annual financial closings with the Director of Finance.
• Assist in preparing the organization-wide and grant budgets.
• Support payroll processing via Paychex.
