Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern for Sales Development, Nonprofit, based in our Chicago Office. This entry-level role supports a team of SDRs/BDRs, learning core sales processes and Salesforce tools.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning through coaching, shadowing, and mentorship while preparing you for potential SDR advancement. The internship requires four days in the office weekly, with opportunities to collaborate across teams and regional partners to drive nonprofit client

Qualifications

Current junior or rising senior graduating May 2028, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems or equivalent.
Strong academic background and performance.
Strong communication, networking and presenting skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and produce tangible results.
Willingness to learn Salesforce tools and sales processes.

Responsibilities

Inbound qualification of leads from marketing campaigns and events.
Outbound prospecting to build pipeline across segments.
Partner lead management with consulting partners.
Collaborate with SDRs and Sales Executives to drive interest and schedule discovery meetings.
Identify key contacts and develop outreach strategies.
Maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce for timely follow-ups.
