Job summary

Family Violence Project in Maine seeks a full-time Marketing & Events Coordinator to support marketing, communications, and fundraising events. This role reports to the Development & Community Engagement Director and helps bring the agency’s mission to life through strong visuals and written communications and well-coordinated events.

• At least one year of event planning and marketing content experience.
• Professional-level graphic design using Canva or Adobe products.
• Ability to create polished materials independently without AI tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with nonprofit fundraising or donor communications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and write print and digital materials for events and promotions.
• Coordinate email marketing, social media content, and website updates.
• Plan and manage fundraising events from planning to post-event follow-up.
• Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and community partners.
• Provide administrative support for fundraising activities, including donor records.
