Job summary

ltdglobal, a nonprofit animal welfare organization, seeks a Junior Accountant to support the general ledger, month-end and year-end closes, and payroll processing on-site in California. You will reconcile accounts, maintain GL integrity with the development database, and assist with audits and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with at least 2 years' experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Blackbaud Financial Edge and ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Thorough understanding of GAAP
• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and ADP Workforce Now preferred

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day and monthly accounting operations, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Maintain GL accuracy and ensure integrity with development database
• Assist external audits with schedules and reporting
• Document and maintain policies and workflows
• Process bi-weekly payroll and related reporting
• Coordinate payroll with HR and manage deductions, accruals, and retirement transmissions
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Prepare monthly reports and assist with budgets and special projects
