The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of hands-on accounting experience in a nonprofit setting, can handle heavy month-end close, and will contribute to grant allocations and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent solid professional experience.
• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on accounting experience with a mid-size nonprofit (501(c)(3)).
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Apply multi-dimensional coding (departments, locations, programs, projects, grants) to every transaction in Sage Intacct.
• Prepare, review, and post standard journal entries.
• Audit and certify employee credit card coding, attach documentation before posting to GL.
• Perform remote deposit capture for donor checks and reconcile to ledger.
