Job Title: Nonprofit Fundraising Team Lead
Reports To: Director of Outreach and Partnerships, CFO, and COO
MISSION STATEMENT
OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION (ONC) aims to reduce partisanship and promote effective solutions through media, education, and dialogue, powered by youth engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Nonprofit Fundraising Team at ONC.
• Review grant proposals, research funding opportunities, and prepare LOIs and grant applications for final approval.
• Delegate tasks to interns and volunteers, aligning responsibilities with their strengths.
• Conduct research on fundraising best practices, donor trends, and potential funding sources.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or related fields; or pursuing relevant degrees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Responsive and effective communicator, even during conflicts.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with data management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Availability to attend biweekly organization-wide meetings and lead weekly team meetings.
• Authorized to intern in the U.S.
