Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to support financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision making across business units. You will partner with leadership to improve reporting, perform financial modeling, and ensure fiscal stewardship of mission-driven programs.

The role is on site in Omaha, NE, and requires a minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Manages financial and accounting operations of assigned departments
• Reviews and validates financial data from multiple systems to ensure integrity
• Supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations
• Prepares, analyzes, and presents financial statements, variance analyses, and KPIs
• Leads development of annual budgets and scenario planning models with FP&A
• Provides financial insights and modeling for organizational initiatives
• Partners with leadership to develop grant and contract budgets and track performance
• Assesses and informs financial impact of proposed programs and staffing changes
• Identifies process and reporting improvement opportunities and supports automation
• Ensures compliance with accounting standards and policies
