UJA-Federation in New York seeks a Financial Analyst for its Network Department to advance financial analysis across the core partner network. The role builds data systems, analytical tools, and direct agency relationships to strengthen the organizations we serve.

You will manage annual data collection, monitor portfolio health with a scorecard, support governance reviews, and assist in capacity-building efforts with core partners, reporting to the Director for Agency Financial Management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Ability to read nonprofit financial statements (audited financials, Form 990).
• Excel proficiency including pivot tables; GAAP familiarity.
• Experience with data visualization and AI-assisted data workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to translate financials for non-financial audience.
• Interest in UJA’s mission and health of Jewish communal sector.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate annual collection of financial data across grantee portfolio.
• Analyze financial health with a scorecard framework; flag concerns.
• Conduct agency-level financial reviews and summarize cohorts.
• Identify governance risk indicators from board data.
• Support oversight framework across core partners, strategic partners, and funded orgs.
• Maintain data systems, dashboards, and agency profiles.
• Support grantmaking analytics and reporting to Network leadership.
