Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and fixed assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual analyses, monthly trend reporting and KPIs.
• Maintain GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards compliance; oversee month-end and year-end closes.
• Ensure timely bank reconciliations and review all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate annual financial audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures; evaluate financial systems for improvements.
• Supervise accounting staff, provide leadership and professional development; promote financial literacy.
