Job summary

The Acacia Center for Justice is seeking a Communications Associate to manage our digital content calendar, engage audiences, and help shape our online storytelling across channels. You will collaborate with the Communications Manager and Director, draft blogs and social posts, coordinate reviews, and help document events for digital assets.

You will also support admin tasks, maintain relationships with content creators, and assist with influencer outreach, ensuring our advocacy work reaches

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in communications or 2-3 years relevant experience.
• In lieu of degree requirements, applicable work or life experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage Acacia’s digital content calendar on relevant social channels.
• Coordinate with external vendors who post on our channels on our behalf.
• Monitor community engagement to ensure discussion aligns with guidelines.
• Lead content creation for blogs, short videos, and social posts.
• Coordinate across departments for timely reviews before posting.
• Support development of long-term narrative and storytelling, including documenting events.
• Create compelling digital content for external audiences and internal uses.
• Manage relationships with content creators and influencer collaborations.
• Conduct research for informational and promotional materials.
• Provide administrative support: scheduling, note-taking, and handling invoices.
