Job summary

SERV Behavioral Health System, Inc. is seeking a Development and Marketing Assistant to support the Senior VP of Development and Marketing.

This on-site role is ideal for a self-starter who wants to build communications, marketing, and fundraising skills within a respected nonprofit. You will manage donor records, assist with publications and events, coordinate fundraising mailings, and help engage volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or marketing is required or strongly preferred.
• At least three years of related experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented self-starter who can multitask in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with donor databases or CRMs and Canva is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and maintain donor/prospect records and giving histories.
• Collaborate on internal/external communications, newsletters, social media, and marketing materials.
• Assist in planning and executing events and mobilize volunteers; support fundraising efforts including mail appeals.
