Job summary

The SC Center for Fathers and Families in Columbia, SC is seeking a Development Coordinator to help grow our nonprofit programs through organized fundraising support. You will manage donor records, track deadlines, coordinate with grant writers, and support reporting to funders.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of office or nonprofit experience, strong writing and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn grant processes with mentoring from development leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and video tools

Responsibilities

• Keep development work organized: track funding deadlines and submission timelines
• Maintain donor and funder records in database; process gifts and acknowledgments
• Coordinate with grant writers and contractors to gather program details
• Collaborate with program, finance, evaluation, communications and partners for proposals and reports
• Assist with grant reports; organize data and ensure timely submissions
• Support communications team in sharing funder impact with stakeholders
• Learn grant process with guidance from development leadership
• Perform other duties with professionalism and team spirit
