Job summary

Basic Needs Inc. is seeking a Development & Communications Coordinator to lead fundraising, communications, and community engagement. You will manage campaigns, donor data, and grant activities, reporting to the Executive Director and collaborating across teams.

The role involves creating content, coordinating events, and supporting a volunteer network in the Twin Cities area while growing nonprofit development skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn fundraising, CRM, and communications platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor databases, gift processing, donor profiles, and stewardship records with accuracy.
• Develop and execute digital and community fundraising campaigns with revenue goals.
• Manage donor acknowledgments, stewardship communications, and follow-up systems.
• Prepare grant applications and reports; support larger proposals.
