Chris Baily is seeking a high-impact Controller to lead finance in a mission-driven nonprofit. You will partner with executive leadership, own the audit process, oversee payroll, cash management, and close cycles, and drive financial stewardship and operational excellence.

This role involves governing grants and government funding, strengthening controls, reporting to the board, and mentoring a finance team while shaping long-term finance operations and strategic decision-making.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with Controller-level leadership.

Mansioni

• Lead accounting operations including payroll, cash management, reconciliations, and disbursements.
• Manage monthly and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight.
• Oversee audits, regulatory filings, Form 990 support, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, forecasting, collections, and grant-related financial activities.
• Partner with leadership on board reporting, financial analysis, and decision support.
• Supervise finance staff and lead process improvement initiatives.
