Job summary

CLA, a national professional services firm, seeks a Controller for its Non-Profit CAAS practice in Southern New England with opportunities in Quincy, Andover, Boston, Worcester, New Bedford, MA and Cranston, RI. Act as Controller for designated nonprofit clients, advise on accounting, and manage multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Prior project management and client management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Controller for the designated clients you service.
• Provide consulting on best practices for accounting and finance engagements.
• Manage multiple clients, work, and deadlines as a project manager.
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements and make recommendations.
• Foster opportunities and attend industry events and trainings.
• Maintain knowledge of client policies, federal/state directives, and accounting standards.
• Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives and actions.
