Qualifications

• Five+ years of public accounting experience with nonprofit focus.
• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Experience preparing/reviewing financial statements and Form 990s.

Responsibilities

• Lead nonprofit audit engagements from planning through completion, presenting results to clients.
• Supervise and mentor staff throughout engagements.
• Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Advise on accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues and strengthen internal controls.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
