Job summary

Turning Point Church is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial activities and ensure stewardship across the church. The role covers donation processing, deposits, reporting, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP and nonprofit regulations.

The position requires a degree in finance or accounting, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with SAP and common office software. This is a full-time role based in Georgia, with benefits including healthcare and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting is required.
• CPA license is preferred but not mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance/accounting roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection, counting and processing of donations, ensuring proper coding in management software.
• Prepare weekly bank deposits and scans; assist with refunds or corrections.
• Review weekly cash reports and invoices for payment prioritization with accounting partners.
• Oversee staff-issued credit/debit cards and ensure proper record keeping.
