A nonprofit church organization in Atlanta is seeking a Controller to manage financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and overseeing a finance team. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting and extensive experience in financial reporting and nonprofit fund accounting. Responsibilities include developing budgets, reconciling accounts, and providing financial data for audits. This is a salaried position with reporting responsibilities to the Executive Pastor.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience working with budgeting, financial reporting, and payroll tax reporting.
• Experience with nonprofit entities and fund accounting.
• Managerial experience overseeing finance or business operations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and present annual budgets for two church campuses.
• Reconcile all bank accounts monthly.
• Provide financial reports for the Preschool Business Office Manager.

Conocimientos

Advanced knowledge of general accounting principles

Advanced knowledge of Fund Accounting principles

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Advanced knowledge of financial accounting automated systems

Strong work ethic

Supervisory Experience
