Job summary

Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting Department and ensure accurate daily operations and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with the Sr.

Director of Finance and regional offices to support sound financial administration across GLSP. The position requires nonprofit accounting experience, including audits, and proficiency with financial software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Experience in managing an integrated accounting system; Blackbaud Financial Edge a plus.
• Nonprofit accounting experience, including audits, preferred.

Responsibilities

• supervise Accounting Department staff and ensure daily accounting needs are met.
• Ensure compliance with LSC requirements and GAAP; liaise with audit firm.
• Oversee accounts payable, payroll, grants and contracts, and general ledger processes.
• Manage inventory controls and reporting; reconcile monthly revenue.
