Hire With Jarvis - Lance Melendez, a purpose-driven nonprofit in Charleston, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial operations and ensure compliance. You will supervise accounting staff and manage various financial reporting activities while establishing internal controls.

The ideal candidate has proven accounting management experience and strong knowledge of Sage Intacct and GAAP. This role offers high visibility and an opportunity to work alongside the CFO, with compensation based on experience and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting management experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and expertise in Excel required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise accounting staff managing general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Establish internal controls and guidelines for transactions and budgeting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Manage audits, reconciliations, and grant compliance reporting.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations.
