Job summary

Charlotte Community Health Clinic in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, manage monthly and annual closes, and prepare financial reports for the CFO and leadership. You will maintain detailed ledgers, enforce internal controls, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.

The role collaborates with the Controller as needed and requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, at least five years in finance, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance.
• Experience with audits, close processes, forecasting, reporting, budgeting.
• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial close processes.
• Monitor cash flow for capital management and forecasting.
• Maintain general ledger with thorough documentation.
• Oversee daily accounting operations for timely, accurate processes.
• Prepare financial reports for CFO and leadership.
• Oversee AP and AR processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audits.
• Develop and oversee internal controls to prevent fraud.
