Florida State Elks Association seeks an Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day nonprofit finance for FSEA and its subsidiaries. The role is hands-on with light supervisory duties over AR/AP staff and close collaboration with the CFO and State Secretary.

The successful candidate brings 5+ years in nonprofit accounting, familiarity with donor management systems, and CPA-related credentials preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with non-profit accounting.
• Experience in public accounting and/or auditing is a plus.
• Proficiency with Charity Engine, Blackbaud or similar donor management systems.

Aufgaben

• Manage daily accounting operations for FSEA and subsidiary entities.
• Own monthly close calendar and ensure timely completion of close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments; perform bank reconciliations.
• Oversee AR/AP staff and provide guidance in workflow improvements.
• Support external auditors with schedules and explanations.
