Job summary

The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum in Kirkwood, MO is seeking an accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations in a nonprofit setting.

You will handle AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, while helping with budgeting and cost analysis. Collaboration with teams across the organization will enhance financial processes and promote accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with non-profit accounting and/or systems with IT integration preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics, automation tools, or emerging technologies preferred.
• Ability to apply AI-driven tools to enhance accounting workflows and efficiency preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills preferred.
• CPA certification is not required.
