Job summary

Star Nonemergent Transportation, LLC is seeking compassionate Nonemergency Medical Transport Drivers to transport clients to appointments and treatments in a safe, timely manner. Drivers must be reliable, follow schedules, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.

Responsibilities include securing equipment, performing vehicle inspections, adhering to traffic laws, and delivering exceptional customer service. CPR/First Aid certification and a clean driving record are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check clearance.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.
• Clean drug screening.
• Able to navigate locations using GPS.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to appointments safely and on time.
• Secure all tie downs, wheelchair lifts, and gurneys.
• Communicate with clients, staff, families, and other entities.
• Follow schedules and assist clients on and off vehicles safely.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance timely.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drivers will be responsible for transporting clients to their appointments and other treatments safely and in timely manner
• Assures all tie down and wheelchair lifts and gurneys are secured properly
• Effectively communicate with clients, staff, families and other entities
• Follow schedules and assist clients on and off the vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Clean and inspect vehicles. Report all maintenances to immediate supervisor in timely manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors

Requirements
