Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting ambulatory, wheelchair, and gurney passengers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The Driver will operate company vehicles and have access to company fuel cards.

Duties:

1. Safely operate vehicles.
2. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
3. Assist passengers getting on and off the vehicle, providing support as needed.
4. Use proper lifting techniques to avoid injury during heavy lifting.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
6. Complete and report trip information via the company app.
7. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Experience as a van driver, delivery driver, or shuttle driver is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with clear and effective communication.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
• Previous experience in school bus driving or paratransit services is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.
