Job description

The Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Basic Skills Mathematics Instructors to teach Adult Basic and Secondary Education in the Student Success Center which includes:

• GED/HiSET test preparation
• GCC Adult High School Diploma
• Concurrent High School Credit Recovery/Advancement Classes
• Basic Skills
• College Readiness

Responsibilities include:

• Coaching basic skills students in mathematics
• Creating and teaching short-term, small group High School Equivalency preparation classes such as basic algebra, geometry, and statistics

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in mathematics OR Bachelor's degree in mathematics AND Master's in education.
